Peace and Calm Workshop

Introduction

The Aspect we have been exploring since Jan 2001 is Peace and Calm:

Mother has written that for those on the path of transformation there is a positive side and a negative side to the work.

The negative side consists of ridding the nature of the lower movements such as anger, jealousy, fear, doubt etc. The positive side consists of developing the qualities of peace, calm, faith, surrender etc. As we began the workshops on anger, a negative aspect of ourselves, we felt that the next area we needed look at should be the positive counterpart of this movement - Peace and Calm.

Peace and calm are important qualities to help us progress on the path. They also help us deal with the difficulties of our daily lives. In the passages below, Sri Aurobindo and the Mother have given practical advice on how to cultivate peace and calm.
